Are You Making Time to Exercise?
Getting fit is a real challenge for many people. Not only does it require a lot of effort, it requires a lot of time. And that's something many people are reluctant to give up, perhaps even more so than money for some.
But finding time for fitness is far from impossible. A regular commitment of time can really pay off. It's also quite simply fun in a lot of cases.
Exercising is not just going to the gym. It's playing with the kids. It's taking a walk. It's even cleaning the house. Many of the activities you do regularly can be done in a way to promote fitness, rather than simply trying to get the job done with minimum effort.
One of the most important things to any exercise regimen is the support of those around you. If everyone around you is making it more difficult for you to exercise you quite simply aren't likely to try as hard. It becomes easier to quit.
If you're starting a new exercise regimen, there are two people you need to talk to. The first is your doctor, for any recommendations he or she may have. The second is an exercise buddy. This can be your spouse, a family member, a friend, anyone who is willing to share motivation and goals with you. It really helps.
