Remember to Care for Your Skin
I’m something of a ghost in appearance - in other words, very pale. That’s because I don’t tan; I burn, and so going out into the sun without sunscreen just doesn’t appeal.
Of course, limiting sun exposure is only one aspect of skin care. Especially when the air is dry you need to keep it moisturized for it to look and feel it’s best. The challenge is picking the right products. There’s just so much hype in the skin care industry.
Even a basic moisturizer can do quite a bit for you, although many people swear by more expensive formulations. It’s all up to what you find works in your particular case. And, of course, for women using makeup that is kind to the skin helps as well. I’ve heard good things about mineral makeup, for example, although I’ve not tried it myself.
Healthy skin is just one part of keeping yourself healthy. It doesn’t take much special effort, just a little something added into your morning or bedtime routine. But it can really make you feel better about how you look.
