Awesome point, Stephanie. I tend to be too much of a perfectionist whenever I think about dieting or exercise. So if I can't workout for a full hour one day (and, to be honest, I never can), I just skip it. Or if I have a bite of something I know is calorie-dense (which I do most days) then I figure I blew my diet for that day and go back to eating junk.

I love your point that every bit counts. I need to remember that more often!

I love my exercise ball too. Although I have trouble with the children thinking they can THROW it around the house :(. I like to sit on it to watch TV - how lazy is that? - and kid on that I'm working out my abs and lower back. Actually you do because every little wobble means that your muscles have to work to compensate and keep you upright.

Good luck with your blog.

Halloween is the one holiday that doesn't derail my diet. I'm not a chocolate fan, and neither is my son, so I just bundle up all the chocolate stuff he gets and give it to my husband. (That man can eat nothing but sugar and rarely gains weight.)

Now, Thanksgiving with all the mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and pumpkin pie? I'm doomed.

I agree about the potential for dangerous natural products. As my husband likes to say, hemlock is natural. People can just be allergic too.

But I've still found on the whole I like natural products best.

My skin care regime is a little different. I go for safety and efficacy. I use HydroPeptide. It's made with a combination of botanicals and lab-enhanced peptides. The results are amazing and I've never had a problem with the collection. I am not big on the "natural" hype. There are natural products out there that are very dangerous.

Not especially. I know it's a very popular tool right now, and has been valuable for some people.
