Are You Addicted to Fitness?

Now, I’m not saying being addicted to fitness is a bad thing. In fact, there are times when it can help you keep going.

One of the key factors is to have a regular time you exercise. This needs to be the best time for you. Some people do best first thing in the morning, getting up early to do it. Others do best in the evening or late at night. The middle of the day works for others, although with jobs that is probably one of the most difficult times to succeed.

You also need to know where you will workout. If you’re going to give up on the gym because it’s too far or too crowded, that’s not the place for you. If your treadmill will be used more as a clothes rack, working out at home is probably not the place for you.

Be positive about your plans. No maybes. You are going to work out. You are going to do a workout that you enjoy. Think about how good you feel when you work out.
