Losing Weight for a Special Event
One of the big times people think about losing weight is when a special event looms. It could be as common as the desire to lose weight for the summer, or something as special as a wedding or a high school reunion.
But these events certainly can drive the desire to lose weight. And many people want to lose it fast. The weight, that is, not their minds.
One of the keys is to not go overboard. A starvation diet may sound like a good option when you want to lose weight fast, but it’s a terribly unhealthy way to go. And the weight is just likely to return as soon as you quit the diet.
Your best solution is to start early, as many months in advance as possible. You need to give yourself time to lose the weight.
Do not just diet. Exercise too. You will lose weight faster. Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle may give you some of the tips you need.
Don’t overdo your goals. You may not be able to get back into your high school jeans in time for the reunion. Don’t sweat it. Most of your classmates will have gained weight too. Focus instead on making what you’ve got look good.
This is why in so many ways exercise means more than merely dieting. Even if you’re still carrying a few extra pounds, and they show, being relatively fit will show too. Your body will look better in many ways and you will feel better.
